BUBUR SOM-SOM

Assalammualaikum Wr Wb....
Sejenis kuih yang amat simple.
Both in it's method and it's outlook.
And one of the kuih/food which holds a lot of memories for me.

Tak nak cerita banyak pat entry ni.
Menangis lagi nanti.
Did this at 3 am in the morning just now.
Saw the recipe at Kak Ayu's (click name) blog.

This was Arwah Nenek's personal favourite.
Will not miss it during Ramadan.
Just like her Mee Soto.

Decided to try doing it.
When I had it for sahur, the taste was painfully same as hers.
I was trying very hard to hold back my tears as I slowly ate it.
And at exactly 4.45 am, Nona Kirana @ Warna 94.2FM played

BUBUR SOM -SOM

Bahan-bahannya:

100 gm tepung beras
25 gm tepung Hoen Kwee
santan cair (200ml santan pekat, 500ml air, dicampur)













 Cara-caranya:



Campur semua bahan hingga adunan sebati lalu ditapis.





Masak adunan di atas api yang kecil. 
Kacau hingga adunan menjadi bergentel/berketul lalu angkat.



Alihkan ke acuan untuk dikukus. 
Gunakan senduk untuk meratakan permukaan adunan.
Kukus selama 30 min atau sampai masak.




Bahan Syrup Gula:

750ml air
1 helai daun pandan diikat - kita pakai 2 pasal daun pandan kita pendek
6 sudu makan gula













Cara-caranya:



 Satukan semua bahan dan didihkan hingga gula larut.





Cara menyediakan:



Adunan tepung dipotong dan siramkan satu senduk air/syrup gula keatasnya. Best served chilled.





 Was a difficult Sahur for me today.
